How Does Your Garden Grow?

Two weeks ago:
A rainy walk through the Botanical Gardens in Antwerp with my girl.

Assuming this is a handy stop for the male gardeners...
but where can the ladies go?

  3. Fabulous photos Katie, looks like a wonderful place. The people disappearing into the lawn are quite amusing to look at and I love the yellow berry thingybobs. I'm guessing as there is no ladies toilet, they are shopping. That's where we should be isn't it. Buying stuff :)

    1. Thingybobs:-) I thought I would be clever and took a picture of the label next to the thingybob tree and this is what is said: CERCIS SILIQUASRUM JUDASBOOM FABACEAE. A rough translation is that it's some kind of Silly Cherry Judastree. But I've just looked that up and I must have looked at the wrong label because that should indeed be a cherry tree of sorts...hmmm. Thingybob Tree it is then!

  4. Ah just stunning! What a super mix of photos - from the statues in the gardens (very cool) to the delicate close ups to the stolen glance through to the succulents. Really love that reflection shot and the brown ivy on that wall - just awesome as always.

Thanks for joining in, I've enjoyed five minutes in Antwerp x

    1. I love those guys. They have been there as long as I have known. They are kind of melancholy though!

  6. Beautiful shots of some amazing ideas for the garden. Not sure about the loo though, not much privacy there. xx

    1. I know! I like the small token privacy wall, it seems kind of pointless!

  10. That is the most eclectic set of photos! From statues of men walking into the ground, to a pee pot, to funky looking fish, and finally some beautiful leaves and flowers. I had to go back and look again a couple of times.
