Black Light Explorations:Part One

We had so much fun with the black light and the UV face paints here: http://katie-randomnest.blogspot.co.uk/2013/09/partay.html and we just can't get enough of it now.
I had the salt trays ready for mark making and then thought that the salt would look amazing under the black light.
The salt appeared pink, but it was the floral underlay that I had put in that really reacted with the black light...

So this made our marks really glow.

This is how it looks in daylight.  Still fun and engaging, but the black light certainly adds the "Wow" factor.

FYI: Black Lights were on special offer at Maplins.

Love it, but it really needs to be as dark as possible in the room, and the light gets very hot.  Would love a more child friendly black light!
